CHANGES WITH THIS ADVISORY -------------------------- The Tropical Storm Warning for Nukuoro in Pohnpei State is cancelled.
WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- A Typhoon Warning remains in effect for Puluwat in Chuuk State.
A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Fananu, Ulul, Lukunor, Losap and Chuuk in Chuuk State.
A Typhoon Watch remains in effect for Faraulep and Satawal in Yap State.
Residents of the Marianas should carefully monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Wutip.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Wutip will be located near Latitude 5.0 degrees North and Longitude 153.1 degrees East. Wutip is moving west at 12 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with little change in forward speed over the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 55 mph. Wutip is forecast to intensify over the next few days, possibly becoming a typhoon Thursday.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 150 miles to the north and up to 85 miles to the south.
NEXT ADVISORY ------------- An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 1100 PM tonight followed by the next scheduled advisory at 200 AM early Thursday morning.
