Damaging winds of 39 mph or more are possible within 48 hours.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 01W was located near Latitude 4.1 degrees North and Longitude 174.3 degrees East. Tropical Depression 01W is moving west-northwest at 7 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with a decrease in forward speed over the next 24 hours, before increasing in speed again over the next couple of days.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. 01W is forecast to maintain this intensity through Monday.
The center of Tropical Depression 01W has been relocated over the last couple of advisories based on latest data and in consultation with JTWC.
NEXT ADVISORY ------------- An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 500 AM this morning followed by the next scheduled advisory at 800 AM.
