DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression Man-yi was located near Latitude 22.9 degrees North and Longitude 132.6 degrees East. Man-yi is moving north-northeast at 12 mph but is expected to turn to the northeast with a slight increase in forward speed Wednesday. It will speed up even more Wednesday night as it races across the north Pacific as an extratropical cyclone.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph and little change in intensity is expected the next couple of days.
