DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Man-yi was located near Latitude 20.5 degrees North and Longitude 132.3 degrees East. Man-yi is moving northwest at 9 mph. It is expected to turn north overnight and then northeast Tuesday, with increasing forward speed Tuesday night.
Tropical storm Man-yi continues to weaken with maximum sustained winds now down to 45 mph. Little change in intensity is expected through Tuesday.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 100 miles.
