DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Man-yi was located near Latitude 19.9 degrees North and Longitude 132.7 degrees East. Man-yi is moving northwest at 14 mph but is expected to curve around to the north Tuesday, and then the northeast Wednesday. Its forward motion will slow down Tuesday, but then increase rapidly as it heads northeast into the north Pacific.
Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 50 mph and Man-yi will continue slowly weakening the next few days.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 105 miles.
