DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm 30W was located near Latitude 11.6 degrees North and Longitude 145.7 degrees East. 30W is moving northwest at 26 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with a decrease in forward speed through Sunday.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to 40 mph. 30W is forecast to intensify through Tuesday night.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 120 miles.
NEXT ADVISORY ------------- An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 1100 AM ChST followed by the next scheduled advisory at 200 PM ChST.
