Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm 19W was located near Latitude 21.5 degrees North and Longitude 142.7 degrees East. Tropical Storm 19W is moving toward the north-northwest at 12 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with a slight increase in forward speed over the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 65 mph. Tropical Storm 19W is forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight possibly becoming a typhoon.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 110 miles to the east and up to 50 miles to the west.
