Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm 19W was located near Latitude 20.5 degrees North and Longitude 143.2 degrees East. Tropical Storm 19W is moving toward the north- northwest at 13 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with little change in forward speed over the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to 65 mph. Tropical Storm 19W is forecast to intensify through Monday possibly becoming a typhoon.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 110 miles to the east and up to 50 miles to the west.
