A tropical storm watch remains in effect for Tinian and Saipan. Tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are possible within 24 to 36 hours.

Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 400 PM CHST...0600 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W was located near Latitude 12.4 North and Longitude 146.1 East. Tropical Depression 10W has continued to the north-northwest but the forward motion has increased. Forward motion will continue to increase overnight with a gradual turn toward the northwest. This current forecast brings 10W near Guam early Thursday morning.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to 35 mph. Tropical Depression 10W is forecast to continue to intensify, possibly becoming a tropical storm later tonight.
Next advisory ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 800 PM this evening followed by an intermediate advisory at 1100 PM.
