Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 1000 AM CHST...0000 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W was located near Latitude 11.7 North and Longitude 146.3 East. Tropical Depression 10W is moving very slowly toward the north- northwest at 3 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the northwest with a slight increase in forward speed over the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. Tropical Depression 10W is forecast to intensify through tonight possibly becoming a tropical storm.
Next advisory ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 200 PM this afternoon followed by an intermediate advisory at 500 PM.
