Watches and warnings -------------------- A tropical storm warning is now in effect for Rota. Tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are expected within 24 hours.
A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Guam. Tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are expected tonight.
A tropical storm watch remains in effect for Tinian and Saipan. Tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are possible within 24 to 36 hours.

Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W was located near Latitude 11.7 North and Longitude 146.2 East. Tropical Depression 10W is moving toward the west at 12 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the northwest with a decrease in forward speed over the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. Tropical Depression 10W is forecast to intensify over the next few days, possibly becoming a tropical storm late this evening.
Next advisory ------------- An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 1100 AM this morning followed by the next scheduled advisory at 200 PM this afternoon.
