A tropical storm watch remains in effect for Rota, Tinian and Saipan. Tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 mph or more, are possible within 24 to 36 hours.

Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 400 AM CHST...1800 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W was relocated to the southwest to near Latitude 11.4 North and Longitude 146.5 East. Tropical Depression 10W is moving toward the northwest at 3 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with an increase in forward speed over the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. Tropical Depression 10W is forecast to intensify through Thursday possibly becoming a tropical storm this afternoon.
Next advisory ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 800 AM this morning followed by an intermediate advisory at 1100 AM.
