DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1000 AM CHST...0000 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W was located near Latitude 10.4 North and Longitude 145.8 East. Tropical Depression 10W is moving northwest at 6 mph. It is expected to maintain this general course through Wednesday night, and is forecast to pass about 125 miles southwest of Guam Wednesday afternoon.
Maximum sustained winds are 30 mph. Tropical Depression 10W is forecast to gradually intensify today and tonight, and may become a tropical storm on Wednesday.
NEXT ADVISORY ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 2 PM this afternoon, followed by an intermediate advisory at 5 PM.
