DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Emilia was located near latitude 18.4 North, longitude 121.1 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through Monday. Emilia's remnant low is forecast to turn toward the west on Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Emilia is forecast to weaken to a remnant low on Sunday and the remnant low is expected to dissipate by Wednesday.
