Tropical Depression Jelawat is moving toward the west-northwest at 14 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with a slight decrease in forward speed through Tuesday morning.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph. Tropical Depression Jelawat is forecast to intensify through Tuesday, possibly becoming a tropical storm this afternoon.
