Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 03W was located near Latitude 6.6 North and Longitude 139.7 East. Tropical Depression 03W was moving toward the west-northwest at 12 mph. It is expected to gradually turn to the northwest with a slight decrease in speed on Monday.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph. Tropical Depression 03W is forecast to intensify through Monday, possibly becoming a tropical storm later tonight or on Monday.
