A tropical storm watch is in effect for Ulithi and Fais in Yap State.

Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 400 PM CHST...0600 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 03W was located near Latitude 6.4 North and Longitude 140.3 East. Tropical Depression 03W was moving toward the west-northwest at 12 mph. It is expected to continue heading in this direction through Monday with a slight decrease in forward speed. Tropical Depression 03W will slowly turn to the north Monday night and Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph. Tropical Depression 03W is forecast to slowly intensify the next few days, possibly becoming a tropical storm tonight.
Next advisory ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 800 PM ChST followed by an intermediate advisory at 1100 PM ChST.
