Changes with this advisory -------------------------- A tropical storm warning will be in effect at 200 PM ChST for Kayangel and Koror in the Republic of Palau, and for Yap Island and Ngulu in Yap State.
Watches and warnings -------------------- A tropical storm warning will be in effect at 200 PM ChST for Kayangel and Koror in the Republic of Palau, and for Yap Island and Ngulu in Yap State.
A tropical storm watch is in effect for Ulithi and Fais in Yap State.
A tropical storm warning means that damaging winds of at least 39 mph are expected within the next 12 to 24 hours.

Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 100 PM ChST...0300 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 03W was located near Latitude 6.0 North and Longitude 140.4 East. Tropical Depression 03W is moving toward the west at 16 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with a slight decrease in forward speed tonight and Monday.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to 35 mph. Tropical Depression 03W is forecast to intensify through tonight possibly becoming a tropical storm this evening.
Next advisory ------------- An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 500 PM ChST this afternoon followed by the next scheduled advisory at 800 PM this evening.
