Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Sanba was located near Latitude 7.2 North and Longitude 133.5 East. Sanba is moving west at 18 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with a slight decrease in forward speed Monday.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 40 mph. Tropical Storm Sanba is forecast to slowly intensify through Tuesday. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 75 miles north of the center and up to 45 miles south of the center.
Next advisory ------------- An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 500 AM ChST followed by the next scheduled advisory at 800 AM ChST.
