Maximum sustained winds...40 mph Present movement...west...270 14 mph.
Discussion and outlook ---------------------- At 1000 PM CHST...1200 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Sanba was located near Latitude 7.1 degrees North and Longitude 134.2 degrees East. Sanba is moving west at 14 mph and is expected to maintain this general movement for the next few days. Sanba has made its closest point of approach to Koror, passing just to the southwest, and is now moving away from Koror.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 40 mph. Tropical Storm Sanba is expected to slowly intensify over the next couple days. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 90 miles north of the center and up to 60 miles south of the center.
Next advisory ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 200 AM early Monday morning, followed by an intermediate advisory at 500 AM.
